The Media We Make

This is a 2-part investigation into older communicative media and new media by students in Zoom Text Talk Insta Sing Chat: Modalities and Media of Communication at the University of Notre Dame, Spring 2025. We begin, ion Part I, with brief summaries about the origins of spoken language, move through writing and printing, then into radio, telephone, and more. In Part II we learn from research projects conceived of and carried out by students.
