This dissertation provides an exploration of gas phase uranium species ionization and fragmentation, and environmental mobility, intersecting analytical chemistry, physics, and environmental science to contribute to a deeper understanding of uranium behavior in complex systems. I present here an investigation into the ionization and fragmentation behaviors of uranyl peroxide nanoclusters and the quantification of 226Ra and 238U in environmental samples.
