SHARE Registry Archived Data

dataset
posted on 2020-10-26, 00:00 authored by Association of Research Libraries, Center for Open Science, Rick Johnson
Archived data harvested by the SHARE Registry service. It is archived according to original source harvested by SHARE, with each record in JSON format. There are two blocks of data: * Partial harvest retrieved directly via its API (filename: Partial\_Harvest\_Via\_API.zip). These cover about 88 of the original sources (manifest of sources in partial\_harvest\_via\_api\_manifest.csv). * A full data export directly from the SHARE backend (file names that begin with json_archive) Examples of how to interact with each set of data are provided here (including how data was retrieved via the API): https://github.com/ndlib-cds/share-samples The SHARE infrastructure was developed by the Association of Research Libraries in partnership with the Center for Open Science. SHARE is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The SHARE initiative was founded in 2013 by ARL, the Association of American Universities (AAU), and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU). For more information about the organization, go to share-research.org. For more information about the project, including presentations and working group details check out SHARE on the OSF (Open Science Framework).
