Sint-Andries is suburb of Bruges in the province of West Flanders. There are many small castles (mansions in revival styles), built by the nobility in the late 19th century, mostly in woody environments (among them, Kasteel Tudor, Kasteel Beisbroek, Kasteel Bloemendale). Kasteel 'Koude Keuken' (named after an ancient well) is unusual in that it dates from 1641 and had a Renaissance facade. In 1900 it was sold to Jozef Kervyn de Lettenhove who employed Bruges architect Charles De Wulf (Belgian Prix de Rome winner, 1887) to do a major rebuilding. The historic monuments (De Inventaris van het Bouwkundig Erfgoed) ID is 75145.
