Errard began to work on designs for the church of the Assumption, Rue St Honor\u00E9, Paris. For this, his only recorded venture as an architect, Errard depended heavily on antique examples, particularly the Pantheon in Rome; planned on a Greek cross, the church consisted of a drum supporting a dome, the whole fronted by a Corinthian portico. It is now the primary church of the Polish community in Paris.
