The higher north tower probably dates from the 17th century.\u000a\u000aOf Segovia's Romanesque churches S Millán is probably the finest and certainly the best preserved. The parish was probably founded in 953, but the present church is most likely 12th-century, although no clear evidence about the date had come to light by the 1990s. It has a nave and aisles; its most striking features are the external, open arcades or cloisters that flank the aisles and form extended porches to the north and south. The unusual porch arcades have capitals with figurative sculpture, now rather eroded, beneath a corbel-table, and a cornice with a pattern of interlaced leaves. It has a Mozarabic tower.
