Templar's House: Raking view of facade

View taken before damage in World War I (May, 1915). The adjacent building was destroyed and rebuilt in a different style. At this time the building was used as a Post Office.\u000a\u000aA three-story house with a Gothic facade of stone on a brick building, dating from the 13th century. It survived World War I relatively intact. At that time it was used as a Post Office. The interior stucco ornamentation was the work of Gregoire Joseph Adam of Valenciennes. The staircase balustrading was by Jacques Beernaert.
