Two years ago, professors created a doctoral course on climate finance to spur research and train future scholars. Covering topics like climate science, economics, and investment management, the course emphasizes multidisciplinary education to understand climate change and its impacts. While climate finance has grown, more funding is needed for decarbonization. The course encourages systems-focused research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public-private partnerships, with increasing academic and industry interest in ESG issues and blended finance.
