Post-Earthquake Homeowner Recovery Survey Code Book (Léogâne, Haiti)

Homeowner-driven structural mitigation practices in post-disaster settings are studied using a new survey instrument, the Post-Earthquake Homeowner Recovery Survey, and corresponding variables. This survey was implemented in Léogâne, Haiti following the 2010 earthquake. This code book details the coding of each variable based on the scoring of each component of the home, using responses to identified survey questions, as well as a set of independent variables and controls.
