GRI is a nonprofit organization established 27 years ago to create global sustainability standards for organizations to report on their environmental, social, and economic impacts. With over 14,000 users, including major corporations and policymakers, the GRI Standards provide transparency and accountability, improving decision-making and outcomes. The standards, developed through a peer-reviewed process, are continuously updated and are used in over 500 policies worldwide. GRI collaborates with various stakeholders and organizations to ensure consistency, comparability, and credibility in corporate reporting.
