Achieving net zero by 2050 requires collaboration across sectors, including consumers, producers, investors, and governments. While governments’ climate plans fall short of the 1.5°C goal, asset owners and managers are setting science-based targets. Investors must push companies to adopt credible transition plans, focusing on sectors and large emitters. Key priorities include integrating climate solutions into portfolios, improving disclosure, and ensuring policy support for a stable low-carbon investment environment.
