**Catholic Peacebuilding and Mining:** From cellphones to computers to life-saving medical technologies, the day-to-day lives of people across the globe are intertwined with materials produced by the global mining industry. Considerable work has been done on mining and development ethics, environmental ethics and corporate social responsibility, but little has been done to integrate this work, relate it to the practices of the Catholic community in conflict zones, and consider it from a Catholic peacebuilding perspective. This issue does just that and features a set of three reflections drawn from the new Catholic Peacebuilding Network book, Catholic Peacebuilding and Mining: Integral Peace, Development, and Ecology, published by Routledge in January 2022. * **Catholic Engagement on Mining: Leveraging Church Capacity for Integral Peace, Development, and Ecology.** By Caesar A. Montevecchio * **The Mining Industry, Conflict, and the Church’s Commitment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.** By Father Rigobert Minani, S.J. * **Extractive Industries: Ethics, Practice, and Religious Engagement.** By Katherine Marshall
