In this presentation, Abby Shelton and Mikala Narlock discuss how the University of Notre Dame, the Hesburgh Libraries and the Snite Museum of Art developed and hosted a virtual user experience exercise to celebrate Usability Day 2020. Using LibWizard as the platform for engaging participants, users were invited to test out different digital library services and provide feedback. In particular, they tested the beta version of their digital collections platform, Marble, and their institutional repository, CurateND. This presentation will focus on virtual user testing activities, lessons learned for engaging participants in a remote environment, and how the services tested will be improved as a result of the testing.
