A New North Shore Vision: Reimagining Liverpool Waters

The synthesis of technological progress and cultural tradition is essential for the healthy development of cities. Unmediated technological progress erodes the human scale within cities. Tradition naturally progresses, but a focus on the preservation of said cultural tradition stifles its natural innovation, hindering the healthy development and growth of a city. In Liverpool, the development group PEEL and UNESCO took diametrically opposed views, which both fail to address Liverpool’s needs now and in the future.
