Sites where people have suffered racism, injustice, and atrocities are often segregated, privatized, forgotten, or dedicated as historic landmarks. To help repair the damage of these events and to honor those impacted, these locations should be connected to living communities, celebrating their culture. This is a path to a more righteous, peaceful, and just world.
