M O T H E R : Three Poems and Others

This is a collection of poems written with the intention of exhibiting the mother oriented tropes of the Monstrous Feminine of Barbara Creed. That was, at least, the original organizational and methodical thought behind the creation of the poems, yet, as the poems began to form they shifted, mainly, into one trope of the Monstrous Feminine: the Archaic Mother. The mother before motherhood, or the mother that creates more of herself. The collection, through this development of idea and physical creation, led to a meandering, broken, and matriarchal creation story.
