ROSEMALLOW: A CIVIC ART GUILD

<p dir="ltr">The addition of a guild for civic art would continue the tradition of social responsibility in Lake Forest, but most importantly create a space for the debate, education, and patronage of appropriate works of sculpture and painting that serve to reflect humanist principles and strive to beautify our American cities. The revitalization of the historic downtown of Lake Forest, Illinois would provide a coherent urban setting in which the guild flourishes as a regional influence for the commission of civic art by creating a mix of uses and formalized spaces that engage the community and provided dignified spaces for civic art to be displayed.</p>
