Sector Differences in Achievement During the Elementary School Years

This study examines sector differences in student achievement from Kindergarten through fifth grade. I find that students who attend Catholic elementary schools have slightly slower rates of learning in mathematics than do public school students. I find no differences in the reading learning rates between Catholic and public school students.
