A sense of wonder is good for human flourishing. Architecture should use its potential for fostering wonder. Because the natural world is excellent at promoting a sense of 'awe' or wonder,' architects should imitate nature in this respect. The proposed new church and ancillary buildings for St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Flint Hill, Missouri follow this principle of design.
