Because of the chasm between society and agriculture, today’s industrial approach to food production consumes thousands of acres of land, destroys natural habitats for many plant and animal species, depletes natural resources, and is entirely removed from most people’s daily lives. However, through the application of architectural design thinking, a link between consumer and grower can be created.
