    Description:

We created a small dataset to validate the lifetime denoising using the trained Noise2Noise-NBN model - the Fluorescence Microscopy Lifetime Denoising (FMLD) dataset - that is dedicated to perform the lifetime denoising from the noisy (raw) lifetime images.

The dataset consists of 50 real fluorescence microscopy images obtained with custom-built two-photon microscope and representative fixed BPAE cell (F36924) samples. We use all 50 images for testing/inference. These images are captured wi…

    Description:

We created a dataset - the Lifetime From Intensity (LFI) dataset - that is dedicated to estimate the lifetime from intensity images. The dataset consists of 156 real fluorescence microscopy images obtained with custom-built two-photon microscope and representative biological zebrafish samples. We use 140 images for training and 16 images for testing. These images are captured with 2 different excitation wavelengths (800 and 920 nm) and different power levels (5 mW and 8 mW).

    Description:

This multilayered spreadsheet is used to assist aspiring homeowners design their home from a pre-set list of options for floorplans, finishes, fixtures, and basic services. It also rapidly calculates an estimated total cost for the structure as well as a corresponding monthly payment amount. This allows the design process to be performed iteratively, giving families autonomy in the design of their own home, the chance to consider a variety of options and combinations, and the immediate knowle…

    Description:

This tool calculates the design loads on a reinforced concrete special moment frame with a concrete slab roof, determines force and moment demands through an approximate portal frame analysis, assesses load combinations, evaluates the capacity of members compared to the demands, and approximates the cost of needed construction materials. It was produced by MSCE student Christianos Burlotos in order to parametrically assess frames to determine the best-fit frame for single-family homes in Leog…

    Description:

This dataset accompanies the Manuscript “Impact of Hurricane Maria on beach erosion in Puerto Rico: remote sensing and causal inference” by Jaynise Perez-Valentin and Marc F. Muller, November 2019.

beachesGIS is a zip archive that contains GIS vectors of 75 beach polygons across Puerto Rico. The vectors are provided in ESRI Shapefile format and LatLong coordinate system and have an attribute table with a beach name.

TimeSeries is a csv table containing time series of shoreline pos…

Data for the reproduction of figures found in the paper Turbulent transport of spray droplets in the vicinity of moving surface waves written by David Richter et al.

Included in this data set is: Spray Droplet Concentration, normalized velocity, and surf. Joint probability distributions of the droplet ejection location with (a) the droplet death location, (b) the maximum height reached by the droplet during its lifetime, and © the droplet lifetime for Cases d10 and d100.

    Abstract:

Multiphoton microscopy combined with fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (MPM-FLIM) is a technique that allows for imaging the lifetime of fluorescence created by two-photon excitation. It not only possesses the advantages of MPM such as large imaging depth, but also the strengths of FLIM including the ability to discriminate different fluorophores with similar emission spectra. In FLIM, the frequency-domain (FD) method, which relies on periodic intensity-modulated excitation light and i…

    Abstract:

In cancer and all biomedical researches, we always need a microscope with better imaging precision, speed, functionality, and depth, so that the diagnostics and treatments of cancer and other diseases can be accurate, fast, and noninvasive. However, conventional fluorescence microscopes cannot satisfy these needs due to physical limits on resolution, speed, information, and depth. In this work, we aim to overcome these limits using novel super-resolution microscopy and high-speed quantitative…
