    The Opera Mathematica of Christoph Clavius was compiled in 1611-1612 and contains works within the fields of both pure and applied mathematics. One of the most famous selections from this set is, of course, Clavius exposition of the Gregorian calendar.     The Badin Bible, a 1790 Mathew Carey Douay-Rheims Bible in English published in Philadelphia, was acquired by the Special Collections department of the Hesburgh Libraries in July 2014. The Bible was likely a gift from Bishop John Carroll to Stephen Badin on the occasion of his ordination to the priesthood in 1793.
