    Solid-state magnesium-ion conductors are desired for next-generation battery applications. Here we investigate magnesium conducting polymer electrolytes produced through dual cation exchange of a poly(ionic liquid) by mixing 1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium poly4-styrenesulfonyl(trifluoro- methanesulfonyl)imide with the magnesiated analogue Mg(PSTFSI)2.     Abstract: Rechargeable magnesium sulfur (Mg/S) batteries suffer from fast capacity fading due to difficulty of reoxidation of MgS and the polysulfide shuttle. Other works have reported that use of Cu current collectors or CuS at the cathode improves cycleability.
