    MAPbBr3 and MAPbI3 films cast onto glass slides and physically paired together undergo halide exchange to form mixed halide films. The change in halide composition in these two ∼130 nm thick films occurs concurrently with Br− diffusing toward the MAPbI3 film and I− diffusing toward the MAPbBr3 film.     A single-step method for the preparation of metastable ε-Fe3N nanoparticles by combustion of reactive gels containing iron nitrate (Fe(NO3)3) and hexamethylene-tetramine (C6H12N4) in an inert atmosphere is reported.     Heterogeneous hydrogenation catalysis is a promising approach for treating oxidized contaminants in drinking water, but scale-up has been limited by the challenge of immobilization of the catalyst while maintaining efficient mass transport and reaction kinetics. We describe a new process that addresses this issue: the catalytic hydrogel membrane (CHM) reactor.
