In this collection of pamphlets and sound recording, Dr. Richard Crocker created a study edition of the repertory of Gregorian melodies for the Mass propers circa 850 AD. Each type of chant– Introit, Gradual, Alleluia, Tract, Offertory, and Communion– is recorded as a group and further divided into modal groups. The recordings use primarily solo voices.
