Town Hall, Mons: Raking view of facade

The architect of the City Hall of Leuven, Matheus de Layens, was called to draw up plans but it is unclear if they were followed. The Renaissance cupola was added in the eighteenth century. It contains a bell dating from 1390, the Bancloque, as well as a clock.
