Cyclic Degradation of Clays within a Finite Element Framework under Various Dynamic Loading Characteristics

Using commercially available final element software, this research project investigates the cyclic behavior of clay and the current state of constitutive models in capturing the cyclic degradation of clay. Progress to rectify current state shortcomings is presented.
