Château de Miromesnil: Overall view, main facade

A mansion of the 16th and 17th centuries; place where Guy de Maupassant was born (1850). His family lived there from 1849 to 1853. The castle was designated as an Historic Monument in 1945. It is now operated as a bed and breakfast.
